Samus Aran, butt-kicking Hunter of Space Pirates, Space Dragons and Space Brains and even Space Herselves! Metroid is a much darker series, and each game has such specific story beats compared to other Nintendo games that’s it’s fun to explore or to subvert. Also, Zero Suits, geez.
