One AU I’d like to delve more into is a modern-day centered Zelda. All the old cyclical elements would exist in some way, but twisted to fit the current world. And set so far into the ‘future’ and in such a different world, there could be twists to expectations, to each of their roles and placements in the world. Zelda could be more hopeless, Link more overwhelmed, and Ganon in the position of a different kind of power.
