Gallery | Blackwell fanart – The High Line Murder | 

The Blackwell series was the first modern point-and-click adventure games that I really dived deep into. They’re fun, always shifting their graphic style and interaction techniques, while telling kind of dour, depressing, if quirky stories about death and moving on. They star a number of protagonists, but always a Medium, paired with a special Ghost, who seek to help trapped souls pass through to the other side.

It gets complicated, and sad, and one of my favorite victims is someone the main character knew, making the murder at the High Line much more personal than most.
