The Larry/Sonja relationship is one of those silly awkward comic relationships that’s just fun because of how asymmetrical it is. Sonja/Jason could probably care less about Larry, but without trying, Larry keeps popping into their life, and either being endearingly annoying, or revealing that they could be good friends if not for the annoying part of it. And Larry remains ridiculously naive and definitely interested. It’s also the second closest thing Jason has to a romance arc, and I love that.
So, this bunch of sequential images – a Bad End? Natural flow of the story? Who knows!
